How to play Nova Strike

Pilot the Nova starfighter through deep space and stop the robot alien swarm. Your twin plasma cannons fire automatically. Just steer, dodge enemy fire and asteroids, and line up your shots.

• Aliens: magenta Needle Beetles are fast and zig-zag, and orange Hive Crabs are tough and fire spreads of energy. Every fifth sector ends with a giant Crab Titan boss.
• Power capsules: ⚡ yellow capsules upgrade your cannons through five levels (twin, triple, spread, rapid and hyper beam). 🛡 cyan capsules recharge your shield and 🔧 green capsules repair the hull.
• Nova ultimate: a giant purple energy bomb with a shockwave that clears every enemy shot and blasts everything on screen. Destroying aliens charges the next one, and every boss gives you another.
• Aegis shield: a golden hexagon shield that bounces red lasers straight back at the aliens for 6 seconds.
• Dodge roll: a fast sideways barrel roll that dodges anything for half a second.
• Lock-on missiles: from weapon level 2, orange reticles lock onto aliens and homing missiles fly to them.
• Warp: after each sector the ship jumps to hyperspace and the stars stretch into streaks.
• Combo: destroy aliens quickly to raise your score multiplier.
