How to play Sunny's Word Garden
Sunny the lion cub shows a 3D toy and its word. Listen to Sunny (tap 🔈 to hear it again), then drag or tap the chunky letter blocks into the word. When the word is right, the toy comes to life: the car drives off, the dog barks and the bee buzzes away, and Sunny sounds the word out letter by letter.
- Missing Letter: one letter is missing from the word. Find it.
- Vowel Hunt: practice the vowels a, e, i, o and u.
- Spell It!: build the whole word from mixed-up letters.
- Find the Word: look at the toy and pick the word that matches it.
- Places: start in the Garden, then earn stars to open the Beach and the City, each with new words.
What kids learn
Letter recognition, letter sounds (phonics), vowels, spelling simple three to five letter words and linking words to pictures. Ages 2–3 get two big choices, ages 6+ get longer words and extra letters.
